Our support of The National D.A.S.H. Foundation is made in the names of our American Queen Titleholders. The National D.A.S.H. ("Domestic Abuse STOPS Here") Foundation was created to address the prevention of Domestic Violence (and specifically "Dating Violence") to Junior and Senior High School Students. The D.A.S.H Foundation is a non-profit corporation (501C3) and is recognized as such by the IRS. All donations to the D.A.S.H Foundation are tax-deductible contributions. THE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE DASH FOUNDATION AND THE AMERICAN QUEEN PAGEANT

The American Queen Pageant is different from other pageant systems. “The pageant with a mission” is not just a catchy marketing tag-line, but is a true reflection of the organization.  If an individual is truly committed to the cause of domestic abuse prevention, then we welcome her into our system. If an individual is simply seeking participation in just another beauty pageant, then we advise them to look elsewhere – the American Queen Pageant is most likely not for her.

The Dash Foundation and The American Queen Pageant are organizations that are designed to work hand-in-hand. One cannot effectively exist and grow without the other. We do not build shelters, provide housing or supplies to shelters, counseling to abuse victims, etc. There are many other worthwhile organizations whose mission is to accomplish these very worthy goals, and to provide these services.

We are an OUTREACH and EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM. Our title holders are the voices of the Dash Foundation. When we build and expand the American Queen Pageant system, we are in effect building our network of voices to reach and educate about domestic abuse prevention and specifically DATING ABUSE PREVENTION.

Participants in the American Queen Pageant must be 100% committed to the Dash Foundation and to the cause of the prevention of domestic violence through education.
